The cream of the crop from the Australian Powerchair community will be on hand to take part in the official 2015 National Titles at Kevin Betts Stadium in Mt Druitt on Tuesday 6th of October.
The tournament is set to be the most heavily contested in its short history, with a mammoth schedule featuring twenty-seven matches over five days.
There will be five states represented at the 2015 Nationals:

·         New South Wales

·         Queensland

·         South Australia

·         Victoria

·         Western Australia

The Australian National Championship will also play host to two New Zealand based teams Canterbury and Auckland.
The tournament will be officially opened by the Governor of New South Wales his Excellency General the Honorable David Hurley which will take place on day 1 of the tournament on the 6th of October at 11am.
New South Wales will be out to go one better this time around after having fallen at the final hurdle last year, going down 2-0 to Queensland in the final.
NSW and Australian Captain Chris Suffield reflected upon the 2014 Nationals Campaign.
“We were really disappointed losing to Queensland in the final at the last Nationals.
“We’ve got a lot of work to do but we want to win it back”.
The tournament will culminate in a friendly international between Australia and New Zealand, affectionately known as the Ditch Cup.
New Zealand will be looking to turn around a disappointing performance in 2014 going down 6-0 to their Australian opponents.
The NSW and Australian Powerchair Coach Peter Turnbull will not be underestimating his opponent.
“New Zealand have developed a long way.
“They will most certainly give us a run for our money this time around.”
