FNSW have today confirmed that the SAP program for 2016 will be run by the Central Coast Mariners (CCM).

The local association Central Coast Football (CCF) made a conscious decision not to apply for the 2016 SAP licence in agreement with CCM and they have confirmed that their preference is that the program be managed by CCM.

As CCM were already awarded the areas National Premier League (NPL) licence this will allow the Central Coast players to participate in a ‘one pathway’ model.

The outcome is consistent with the recent Men’s competition Review.

For clarity FNSW also reiterate that whilst included for the first time into FNSW NPL competitions that Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers are ineligible for a SAP licence as the geography within their reach is already serviced by over 20 existing SAP licences.
