Futsal Premier League Round 8 Preview
It’s halfway in the 2015-16 Football NSW Futsal Premier League season and round eight Saturday night features South Coast against Inner West Magic, Campbelltown tackle Enfield, UTS Northside play Dural, and Mountain Majik meet Mascot.

A round six catch-up game between Rovers and Taipans takes place at Illawarra Sports High School on Sunday (3pm).
Campbelltown Quake v Enfield Rovers
Minto Indoor Sports Centre 6.55pm Saturday 12 December
What a match up between Enfield Rovers and long-time foes Campbelltown Quake. Enfield will be smarting after allowing a last-gasp Dural goal to draw 6-6 and Campbelltown are in a desperate fight for their premier league lives currently bottom of the club championship. There’s sure to be plenty of goalmouth action with 117 goals scored in 13 meetings (nine a game) and there’s never been a draw – Rovers have won seven times to Quake’s six.
Mountain Majik v Mascot Vipers
Valentine Sports Park 7.30pm Saturday 12 December
Mountain Majik meet Mascot Vipers in what promises to be an entertaining match-up. Both sides are coming off wins, Majik getting up for the first time in 11 league outings (5-3 over UTS) and Mascot beating South Coast 5-2. Vipers in particular have taken huge strides in this season’s performances, just as the Mountaineers also start to hit their straps, and there’s a certain rivalry between them just to make it a little juicier – Mascot have won the last two encounters following three straight Majik victories.
South Coast Taipans v Inner West Magic
UOW Sports Hub 5.40pm Saturday 12 December
South Coast Taipans provide Inner West Magic with a test of character this weekend. Inner West were steamrolled 8-3 by Campbelltown to drop to fourth spot (albeit with a couple of matches in hand) and will want to put the disappointment behind them immediately. South Coast already know about the demands of staying in premier league, relegated following a tough 2011/12 season, and they’re showing real fight this time around to stay in the mix. Magic have won all three meetings between the clubs.
UTS Northside v Dural Warriors
Sydney Boys High School 6.40pm Saturday 12 December
It’s an interesting time for Dural to meet UTS Northside, Warriors held to a 6-6 draw with Enfield last week and keen to make sure it stays a blip on this summer’s campaign. The Northsiders must be sick of going close following yet another tight loss, this time to bottom side Mountain Majik, and they have given Dural a few scares in the past, losing 2-1 and 2-0 in their debut season before a 6-0 drubbing in round one. This time it’s on home turf for UTS.
