Futsalroos to be rewarded at Futsal Premier League Finals

The successful Futsalroos will be celebrated at Valentine Sports Park this Saturday during the 2015/2016 Futsal Premier League Grand Final day after clinching a spot at this year’s FIFA Futsal World Cup in Colombia.

Coach Rob Varela and his squad will be present prior to the Open Women’s Final along with Football Federation Australia Technical Director Eric Abrams as a Q & A will take shape acknowledging the hard work, effort and success the squad has achieved this season.

The Futsalroos qualified for the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup taking place in September after cruising to a 3-1 victory over Kyrgyzstan to finish fifth at the AFC Futsal Championships.

Eleven out of the fourteen man squad are currently Futsal Premier League/F-League players while the overseas duo of Jarrod Basger and Tobias Seeto both played in NSW’s top tier Futsal competitions.
