Earlwood Wanderers FC is launching a new special needs football program on Saturday 8 April 2016 at Hughes Park, Westfield Street, Earlwood.

The inaugural program aims to provide an opportunity for individuals and teams in Sydney who have a physical, intellectual or development disability to participate in the world game.

Earlwood’s President, Lui Arcidiacano is excited at the prospect of the new program which will increase opportunities for all players to enjoy football, regardless of disability.

"This is a fantastic way for kids and adults to enjoy the beauty of football" said the President

The program curriculum has been modified and customised by former Socceroo John Doyle and will be managed by a number of certified and professional coaches.

"Encouraging young people to remain active and healthy from every spectrum of society is a base for improving society’s well-being" said Doyle
