The 2016 Football NSW Roadshow to Western NSW concluded on Thursday as Parkes set the scene as the final destination for the continual promotion of the world game.

Harrison Park was the venue selected as 110 players descended for another AIA Vitality MiniRoos Schools Gala Day.

Students from St Laurence’s, Parkes East and also St Joseph’s at Peak Hill came together for some fun skills and small sided games.

The afternoon saw another 25 players from Parkes Football Club take in a training session.

After the training session, Football NSW handed over the Indigenous Partnership equipment as Parkes Football Club entered into an agreement with Football NSW to work on engaging with Indigenous players from the regional town.

As the night rolled in and the lights flicked on, coaches from the Parkes area partook in a Skill Training Workshop (with first touch as the topic).

Football NSW Coach Education Manager Oscar Gonzalez was impressed with the engagement from the local coaches who showed some promising discussions in the Workshop.

This concluded what was a successful Football NSW Roadshow to Western NSW where Football continued to kick goals in the regional area.
