Orange stage Grassroots Coaching Expo
Over 60 enthusiastic coaches braved wet autumn weather conditions last Saturday morning at Jack Brabham Oval to take in a special Grassroots Coaching Expo.
It was a fantastic reception from the Vitality AIA MiniRoos coaches from within the Orange Football Association as the season kicked off soon after that.
Regional Coach & Development Manager for Western NSW Andrew Fearnley was delighted with the turnout as well as the skill levels all coaches possessed on the day.
“It’s pleasing to know now that all local coaches were present on the day are now armed with knowledge on how to be a Game Leader for matches as well as being keen enough to putting these new found tactics into practise.”
Along with the Orange Grassroots Coaching Expo, Mudgee hosted the same event too as 20 coaches took part in various sessions, promoting the news that Football has officially kicked off in Western NSW for the 2016 season.
