Football NSW CEO Eddie Moore was thrilled to have PUMA on board and sees enormous potential in aligning with the German brand for Futsal’s prestigious National competition.
“I am delighted in announcing this news for the F-League alongside a fantastic sporting brand such as PUMA.
“Attracting an international brand is testament to the huge growth we’re seeing in playing numbers and attention Futsal has received especially with the recent success’ of our very own Fustalroos.”
PUMA Head of Teamwear Oceania, Jason Jacoby, said. “Puma is delighted to partner with FNSW and the F-League in 2016 supplying the official match ball the evoPOWER 1.3. The F-League began in 2011 with a six team Men’s competition with teams from ACT, NSW and VIC participating across three weekends in Sydney.
The competition has since gone from strength to strength as 2016 will feature eight Men’s and Women’s teams from NSW, ACT, Victoria and Queensland all compete for the right to be crowned 2016 PUMA F-League Champions.
The 2016 PUMA F-League is endorsed and supported by Football Federation Australia, and coordinated by Football NSW.
The competition kicks off this Saturday 21st of May with the Finals scheduled for Sunday 21st August.
