Football NSW State League side Nepean FC appointed Magdy Andrawes as its new First Grade Coach for the remainder of the season.

Magdy comes with a clear vision of getting the club back into the higher echelons of Football NSW Men’s Competitions that matches Nepean FC’s vision and strategy.

He brings with him many years of success at different PS4 NPL 2 clubs and teams, and is excited by the challenge of taking on a senior team and breaking into the ranks as a First Grade Coach.

“It’s an exciting time to be involved in this club as we put together a team of people who can build on the work done before and Magdy’s record shows that he can bring a lot to that discussion.

“We’re looking forward to a positive turnaround on the park as the players respond to his appointment,” said Ryan Trussell, NFC President.

Magdy himself says that he is excited and looking forward to the challenge of taking his local team up the table and to push for promotion all the way to PS4 NPL top tier competition.

He sees the work being done already as a great starting point but wants to build the club into one that the local footballing communities aspire to be a part of and one that opposition teams fear.

Nepean FC’s next game is away to Hurstville FC on Saturday 28th May.
