Girl Power at Manly
As many as 250 enthusiastic young female football youngsters participated in what was a successful Manly Warringah Football Association’s Under 10 Girls Gala Day hosted by Wakehurst FC on Sunday 14th of August.
Assisting with the day was Westfield Young Matildas capped and Sydney FC W-League star Amy Harrison who assisted via taking part in some fun games with some of the girls from the Dee Why, Mosman and Seaforth area.
There were 9-a-side matches staged but the pleasing point was seeing a number of the Under 10s younger sisters taking part in the Under 8’s Girls Gala Day at Curl Curl.
