Fraser encourages Community goalkeeping course at VSP

Former Socceroo legend and current Football NSW Goalkeeper specialist Jim Fraser has urged interested participants that there are still vacant spots available for an upcoming Community Goalkeeping Course to be held at Valentine Sports Park on November 6th and the 13th.
Fraser will be conducting both courses (click here for more details on how to register), where he will be sharing his wealth of knowledge as a goalkeeper as well as discussing a few stories on his time as a player as well as being a goalkeeper coach.
On completion of any FFA Community Goalkeeping course the participant will be able to:
· Identify the training requirements of junior / youth / senior goalkeepers
· Plan practices appropriate to the needs of junior / youth / senior amateur goalkeepers
· Identify methods to make training Inclusive for all participants
· Implement basic principles of goalkeeper coaching
· Conduct relevant, safe and engaging goalkeeper sessions
· Select appropriate methods to enhance performance
· Adapt the effectiveness of their coaching behaviours through self-reflection
A number of star goalkeepers have come under the watchful guidance of Fraser with one Matt Ryan, the current Socceroos and Valencia CF star whom he had the pleasure of recently receiving a signed jersey from.
