Rouse Hill Rams stage successful presentation day
It was a memorable day for the Rouse Hill Rams who recently staged its presentation day for their Under 8s right through to their Under 18s in what was a great event enjoyed by all.
Apart from the many trophies that were given out on the day, Western Sydney Wanderers Community Development Officers were on site having organised 3 v 3 matches along with inflatable goals as well as fairground rides that were free to use for all Rams families.
Five perpetual awards were handed on the day with Emily Newman taking out the Small Sided Player of the Year while Daniel D’Aquino landed himself the Small Sided Coach of the Year award.
Alexander Newton took out the Junior Player of the Year award from the U18/1’s squad while Zoran Taleski was crowned Junior Coach of the Year for the U13/1s.
Stan Gruca took out the final award as the Volunteer of the Year having managed his son’s Under 6’s as well as his daughter’s U10 Girls side.
Pyro Oz then put together a spectacular fireworks display at night that concluded what was a wonderful event for the club.
Club Secretary Emma Ashley was delighted with how the day and night took shape after what was a sterling year for the Rams.
“It was certainly a fabulous event enjoyed by all.
“Even the little bit of rain couldn’t hold us off.
“We proved once again that if you put a ball on a field, with just a couple of poles or a pop up goal, kids and their parents will play football.
"Rams is a grassroots football club and offers football for all levels from U6 to seniors. The club has been at the forefront of implementing small sided football over the last 9 years, with sufficient teams to conduct in-house games for U6 and U7 age groups, which are played in a positive environment focused on fun, participation and learning.
“The club is focused on junior development and offers programs and support to assist all players improve.
“The club aim is to allow all players and coaches to reach their full potential in a positive and inclusive environment.
“The primary focus of the club shares the values of Sports Club and provides opportunity for a social connection through sport.
“Many life-long friendships have been established over many years and the club plays an important role in making a well-connected, healthy, strong and inclusive community.
“The club will always share this value first and foremost over results."
