Football NSW will be running a ‘C’ Licence Course in Western NSW, with the first block commencing on Friday, February 17th as well as future dates booked in for March and May.

Coaches who are wishing to undertake the FFA ‘C’ Licence (Youth) to be run by Football NSW Coach Education Manager Oscar Gonzalez are encouraged to register quickly with the course only weeks away.

The course will commence on Friday, February 17th (evening) and will run through till Sunday, February 19th in the first block at Bathurst.

The future dates that will follow are March 4th/5th and May 6th/7th.

Football NSW’s Regional Coaching & Development Manager for Western Branch Andrew Fearnley highlighted that the ‘C’ Licence was a great opportunity for regional coaches to be able to undertake the ‘C’ licence without needing to go to Sydney or Canberra, and encouraged coaches considering taking the course to challenge themselves and enrolling.

This will be the second time that the ‘C’ Licence has been held in Western NSW.

“The previous ‘C’ Licence was a great success and it was evident that the course assisted the coaches in their coaching in sessions, methodology and matches,” said Fearnley.

“Coaches in the Football NSW State Leagues require the ‘C’ Licence – it is a highly beneficial course for coaches who are coaching teams across the associations with Western Branch and wish to improve themselves as coaches and also the players in the teams they are involved in.”
