South West Slopes Football Clinic a Hit

Over 40 boys and girls enjoyed a football clinic at Mitchell Park in Cootamundra at the first stop for the Football NSW Riverina regional roadshow.

Ray Godbier from South West Slopes Soccer Association was overwhelmed with how many young players turned up in the warm weather to enjoy some expert skills and drills put on by Football NSW Coaching staff Oscar Gonzalez and Demelza Howard.

"I have never seen this many kids turn up to a session to date.

“It’s wonderful to see all the boys and girls enjoying football.”

Football NSW also put on a ADLI MiniRoos Grassroots coaching course that was welcomed by many eager coaches who will no doubt put these learnings to the test when coaching their respective sides for the start of both the elite and grassroots football seasons this year.

The promising young future stars were also given a bag of Football NSW goodies in light of the new football season kicking off shortly.
