The national team of Papua New Guinea has used Valentine Sports Park as its official training venue, two days before their big Oceania Football Confederation World Cup 2018 FIFA World Cup Round 3 qualifier against Tahiti on Tuesday 28th of March (Wednesday 29th of March AEST).
Danish coach Flemming Serritslev and his squad used Football NSW’s ‘Home of Football’ as its base in gearing up for what will be a huge encounter against their Pacific Island rivals as they search for its first victory of their World Cup campaign.
Tahiti currently lead Group B standings with two wins and a loss while Papua New Guinea lie in third having played the one match against Tahiti where the side lost 3-1 at their home base last Thursday 23rd of March.
