The first coaching casualty has struck the PlayStation4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s competition with 2016 Premiers and NPL Champions Sydney United 58 parting company with head coach Davor Bajsic after three games.

Bajsic offered his resignation as the Reds suffered three opening successive round defeats to put them at the foot of the PS4 NPL NSW Men’s ladder – the latest being a 3-2 defeat last Saturday at the hands of Hakoah Sydney City East.

The club has moved quickly to appoint assistant coaches Jerry Bilokapic and Tomi Vidovic as interim caretaker first team coaches while the club searches for a permanent first grade coach.

The coaching duo’s first match in charge of the Reds will be at Edensor Park this Sunday when Sydney United 58 take on another club yet to hit its straps namely the Sutherland Sharks, with both teams hoping to end their winless streak.
