The competition moves into May and heats up as we have another four gripping contests to mull over in week four of the PlayStation 4 NPL 2 NSW Women’s including a match between the two undefeated sides.

Inter Lions vs Sutherland Shire FA, Sunday 7th May, 3pm, Concord Oval

After having a week off, Inter Lions head home to face the Sutherland Shire in a battle of the two undefeated sides in this early stage.

Sutherland Shire FA were impressive in a 3-1 victory over Central Coast Mariners as Jordan Baker scored a brace.

The home side will be primed to get back into action after with attackers Sarah Mandile and Maria Kalogeropoulos looking to add to their goal tallies.

For the Sutherland Shire FA they have scored three goals in both their games thus far which promises an open contest between the two sides.

Bankstown City Lions vs Sydney Olympic FC, Sunday 7th May, 3pm, Jensen Park

Third and fourth collide at Jensen Park as Bankstown City Lions host Sydney Olympic in a crucial contest early in the season.

It was contrasting fortunes for the two sides last weekend as Bankstown City Lions triumphed 4-1 while Sydney Olympic were stunned by Nepean FC.

Joanna Martino continued her scoring run with a sublime free-kick and her combination with Samantha Muscat provides a stern test for the Olympic defense.

Sydney Olympic coach George Beltsos was disappointed with the loss but his side has a chance to redeem themselves against a red hot Lions this Sunday.

Marconi Stallions vs Central Coast Mariners, Sunday 7th May, 3pm, Marconi Stadium #2

Marconi Stallions look to bounce back in home surroundings as the Central Coast Mariners head to the south west Sunday afternoon.

Both teams come off a last start loss, as Marconi went down 4-1 to Bankstown City Lions while Central Coast Mariners lost 3-1 to Sutherland Shire FA.

It has been a stumbling start for the Stallions in NPL 2 NSW Women’s with a win and a loss so they are targeting a win to get themselves back on track.

For the Mariners – two of their new signings Candice Phelan and Georgia Davis have been on fire but they need to turn these starts into victories beginning with this weekend.

Nepean FC vs Gladesville Ravens, Sunday 7th May, 4:30pm, Cook Park

Second placed Nepean FC welcome Gladesville Ravens to Cook Park for an interesting contest Sunday afternoon.

Nepean FC surprised Sydney Olympic 2-1 while Gladesville will be buoyed by picking up their first point of the season against Southern Branch FC.

The home side are a tough side to break down, as proven in their three games and have the firepower upfront with Bianca Galayini which presents a tough challenge for the newly promoted Ravens.

Gladesville Ravens can produce magic on their day with their slick passing style and pace through the likes of Chloe Loyzaga and Isabella Breukelaar to challenge Nepean FC.

Southern Branch FC has the bye
