Western NSW Mariners FC vs Parramatta FC, Sunday 18th of June 3pm, Jack Brabham Park

Parramatta FC make the long trip out to face Western NSW Mariners FC as they look to add to their solitary point. The Mariners though will be determined to continue their recent good form and consolidate their  position in the top four. Parramatta will be aware of the tough test they will face as the Mariners have proved to be a hard team to beat at home.

Mariners coach Jason Payne will be wary of his team maintaining their focus as Parramatta have already showcased this year their ability to take points off more fancied opponents as they demonstrated in their scoreless draw against SD Raiders.

Mt Druitt Town Rangers FC vs St George FC, Sunday 18th of June 3pm, Popondetta Park

Mt Druitt Town Rangers FC host St George FC in what should prove to be a highly entertaining clash wherein both teams have shown the ability to score goals. Mt Druitt were involved in the only game last round as they suffered a tough loss to top of the table APIA Leichhardt Tigers FC.

Mt Druitt coach Danny Abboud will know his team will have to concentrate for the full 90 minutes as he will be aware of the threats that St George pose. St George coach Carlo Tini will know the importance of three points so as to keep them in touch with the top four.

APIA Leichhardt Tigers FC vs SD Raiders FC, Sunday 18th of June 7pm, Lambert Park

In the late game APIA Leichhardt Tigers FC host SD Raiders FC in a top of the table clash where SD Raiders will be looking to close the gap on the undefeated APIA. APIA will be confident of maintaining their unbeaten start to the year but will know the dangers that the Raiders will present.

The Raiders will see this game as a perfect opportunity to return to the winner’s circle after some mixed results over the last few weeks. APIA will know they need to improve from their performance from last week against Mt Druitt even though they picked up the three points. APIA coach Matteo Maiorana will know the importance of his team’s ability to maintain possession and not let the Raiders dictate the tempo will be key to his team picking up the three points.

Raiders coach Catherine Cannuli will be emphasizing the importance of a good start by her team and the ability to squeeze the space that APIA are able to work within. This game has all the attributes to be a tight and exciting contest as both teams will be looking to gain a psychological edge over each other as we enter the second half of the season.
