Forbes host successful Girls School Gala Day
Forbes District SC recently hosted its first Western NSW Girls School Gala Day on Friday 23rd June in partnership with Western NSW Football, Western NSW Mariners and Lachlan Soccer Association.
Sponsored by North Parkes Mines Community Grants Program, 330 Year 2 to Year 5 students from St Lawrence – Forbes, Holy Family – Parkes, St Josephs – Eugowra, Forbes North Public, Tottenham Central, Forbes Public, Grenfell Public, Wellington Public and Canownindra Public all took part in a great day of small sided games.
There was also a handy representation from the Western NSW Mariners Men’s and Women’s elite teams who assisted with the various games as well as coaching the youngsters.
