Former Hyundai A-League defender Jacob Tratt returned to where it all began for the talented 22-year-old as he visited his former teachers at the St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Dubbo recently.

Having played for the likes of Sydney FC and Wellington Phoenix in the Hyundai A-League, Tratt who is Dubbo born and bred, took part in a special skills day alongside Football NSW’s Coaching and Development Manager for Western Andrew Fearnley.

Tratt assisted with the delivery of a variety of football skills, drills and fun games to a number of enthusiastic football crazy pupils at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School.

Along with the training session, Tratt also spoke to students about the push for more footballers coming through the regional areas in making elite clubs and programs via good discipline and a positive attitude to training.
