Granville Waratahs host memorable coaching course
Granville & District Soccer Football Association side Granville Waratahs hosted a special grassroots certificate for both their club members and the local association at their famous Robin Thomas Reserve surroundings in the heart of Parramatta on Sunday 23rd of July.
Known to many football followers as one of the oldest clubs in Western Sydney, the Granville Waratahs have had a colourful and rich history of football and this was replicated when they hosted this magnificent event via a great working relationship with Football NSW.
Waratahs Club President Noel Dona worked closely with Football NSW Coach Education Manager Oscar Gonzalez in getting this course off the ground that was heralded a huge success.
“It was amazing to have 13 coaches willing to attend a coaching course on a Sunday afternoon in July in order to help their kids,” Gonzalez said.
“I applaud the club for doing such a fantastic job with this and I sincerely hope it plays a role in the continual development of the game within the club.”
