Football NSW are pleased to advise that the Southern Districts ‘C’ Licence is underway and a new course in Eastern Suburbs FA has been approved and is now online.

Many thanks to both Associations for their proactive approach in helping to organise these events.

Football NSW would also like to acknowledge respective Technical Directors in Rod Galic and Jaime Gomez for their efforts.

Opening day for Southern Districts was conducted last Saturday, a first for the Association, it was held at Ernie Smith Reserve in front of a healthy turnout.

Southern Districts along with Football NSW and the FFA worked hard to organize and conduct a course for our coaches who wished to expand their football knowledge and coach education through the FFA elite coaching pathway.

The coaches were welcomed by Southern Districts Football Association Technical Director Rod Galic, SDSFA Secretary Gino Marra and Football NSW  instructor Danny Abboud who was conducting the course.

Southern Districts has a proud football history as the football association which has given the most number of Socceroos and also a great number of players for the Matildas.

This is the first of many advanced coaching courses that SDSFA hopes to run in the coming months.
