Applications for 2018 FFA Cup NSW Preliminary Rounds Now Open
Football NSW would like to formally invite teams to participate in the 2018 FFA Cup NSW Preliminary Rounds and the chance of progression to the 2018 FFA Cup Final Rounds.
Entry will be compulsory for 1st Grade teams of the NPL NSW Men’s, NPL 2 NSW Men’s, NPL 3 NSW Men’s and FNSW State League Men’s.
All Association Senior Men’s Clubs are invited to participate in the 2018 competition.
Club Eligibility
All entries are subject to approval by Football NSW.
Only one (1) team per Club will be permitted entry into the competition.
Please Note: Sydney FC NPL NSW Men’s, Western Sydney Wanderers NPL 2 NSW Men’s and Central Coast Mariners FC NPL 2 NSW Men’s teams are NOT be eligible to participate in the 2018 FFA Cup NSW Preliminary Rounds.

The match dates for the 2018 FFA Cup NSW Preliminary Rounds.
Round 2 – TBC – Saturday, 10 March 2018 & Sunday, 11 March 2018
Round 3 – Saturday, 17 March 2018 & Sunday, 18 March 2018
Round 4 – Wednesday, 4 April 2018
Round 5 – Wednesday, 18 April 2018
Round 6 – Wednesday, 2 May 2018
Round 7 – Wednesday, 16 May 2018
Club Registration Fees
The Club Registration Fee to participate in the 2018 FFA Cup NSW Preliminary Rounds is as follows:
Fee $300.00 (excluding GST) – Association and Football NSW State League Men’s Clubs
$500.00 (excluding GST) – NPL 3 NSW Men’s Clubs
$750.00 (excluding GST) – NPL NSW Men’s and NPL 2 NSW Men’s Clubs
An additional Club Registration Fee will be payable for those Clubs that qualify for the 2018 FFA Cup Final Rounds.

Round 2 – Round 2 will be played if Club Entries exceed the number of teams in Round 3, these will be Association Teams only.

- 14 x NPL 3 NSW Men’s
- 12 x FNSW State League Men’s Teams
Round 4 – 40 – 80
- 11 x NPL NSW Men’s Teams
- 12 x NPL 2 NSW Men’s Teams
- 57 x Round 3 Winners
Round 5 – 20 – 40
- 40 x Round 4 Winners
Round 6 – 10 – 20
- 20 x Round 5 Winners
Round 7 – 5 – 10
- 10 x Round 6 Winners
Note: 5 x Round 7 Winners progress through to the 2018 FFA Cup Round of 32
2018 FFA Cup Final Rounds
Football NSW has been allocated five (5) slots into the 2018 FFA Cup Final Rounds. Accordingly, the five (5) winning Teams from Round 7 of the Preliminary Rounds will be provided entry into the Final Rounds.
Further information regarding the Final Round Match Schedule and Draw Process will be provided to Clubs in early 2018.
Registrations
All Clubs that have been accepted into the 2018 FFA Cup NSW Preliminary Rounds, will be required to register their Players on MyFootballClub (including uploading a head and shoulders photo for each player) prior to the commencement of the competition. Registration guidelines to assist Clubs will be circulated in early 2018.
Referees Fees
Football NSW will cover all referee fees for the 2018 FFA Cup NSW Preliminary Rounds.
