On Saturday 10th February 2018, the St George Football Association will be hosting the inaugural Festival of Football at Jubilee Oval, Kogarah.

The day will encompass an array of football activity from a Grasroots Coaching Expo led by former Socceroo and SBS Analyst, Aytek Genc, to Football NSW activations, live music, kids face painting and guest appearances from Craig Foster and Sydney FC.

One of the key features of the day will be the 8 high quality matches being played between 2017 St George FA, Football South Coast FA and Sutherland FA Champion teams.

Club teams Connells Point Rovers, Cronulla Seagulls and Wollongong Olympic are just a few of the teams representing their respective associations.

Football4All games will also be a key highlight of the day with the St George Warriors, Football South Coast Knights and Sutherland Titans all taking part.

General Manager of the St George Football Association, Craig Kiely, said the association is thrilled with the concept and has grand visions for the future of the festival within the St George football landscape in years to come.

“The objective is to turn the festival into an annual event and the biggest pre-season community football festival in the state,” he said.

The festival will also act as a chance for all players, new and existing, to sign up for their local SGFA team for the 2018 season with clubs taking registrations on the day.

The 2018 St George Festival of Football will be proudly supported by Georges River Council, Football NSW, Sydney FC, Sutherland FA, Football South Coast FA and Southern Expansion.

Entry on the day will be via a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to the St George Children’s Hospital.
