Football NSW’s FFA Cup Round’s 2 and 3 confirmed

The 2018 Football NSW FFA Cup Draw for round’s 2 and 3 took place at Valentine Sports Park on Wednesday as a record number of 120 grassroots club entries were drawn by Football NSW CEO Stuart Hodge and Blacktown City FC star Joey Gibbs.
Along with the 120 grassroots clubs from across NSW, each NPL and Men’s State League teams automatically enter the competition bringing the total number up to a record breaking 169 teams for 2018.
Since the introduction of the FFA Cup in 2015, entries for the prestigious knockout competition have grown yearly as the inaugural season saw 105 teams enter while in 2016, 130 took part with 2017 seeing 144 contest in the big dance.
Hosted by Adam Santarossa, the official draw saw a number of mouth-watering match ups from various associations across NSW with Football NSW State League and NPL NSW Men’s 3 clubs joining the fray in round 3 of the competition.
Round 2 matches will take shape on the 10th and 11th of March while Round 3 will take place on the 17th and 18th of March.
