Highlands Football Association Technical Director Nick D’Amore is set to embark on a new adventure along with his current duties with the Highlands Soccer Association and Highlands FC after he was appointed the Head of Player Recruitment for the Pararoos.

D’Amore’s role will include identifying talented players to join the current squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

In addition to that role, D’Amore will also be the Assistant Coach for the Young Pararoos, with the responsibility of assisting in building a youth pathway in line with all Pararoos National Squads.

D’Amore expressed his delight upon receiving news of his new venture.

“I am most excited to be involved in the national team set up and looking forward to contributing and building on the success the staff have already achieved.

“In addition, I look forward to working with Kai Lammert to further deepen and develop my own coaching skills and the skill set to coach as part of this elite setup.”

With an eye to the future, D’Amore is already making future plans following this appointment.

“I am also looking at delivering an FFA Skill Training Certificate course for the Pararoos players.

“The players have already expressed how keen they are to be part of this initiative and I have also mentioned to them that we would need their help to this to set up correctly.”
