Kolts Get a Kick Out Of ALDI MiniRoos Program

There wasn’t a single ball that stood still in sight, as the Kellyville Kolts invited Football NSW along to their ALDI MiniRoos Kick-Off program over the weeekend

This year the club decided it was time to join the ALDI MiniRoos Kick-Off Program family by becoming a MiniRoos provider.

The Hills Association club host their ALDI MiniRoos Kick-Off program sessions every Saturday, with matches organised for the Under 5 & 6 age groups to put their developing skills into practice on the pitch. The sessions boast a inclusive family atmosphere, with younger siblings of the participants encourage to part take within activities throughout the program.

On Saturday the 30th of June the Kellyville Kolts invited Football NSW’s Game Development Officer Kevin Amaya to their morning session, alongside Cameron Whitton.

The Football NSW team were able to observe the session, whilst also providing some entertainment in the Football NSW inflatable shooting target. Both Kevin and Cameron thoroughly enjoyed the session, and provided some prizes to the the participants.

Kevin commented on the environment which the Kellyville Kolts had created, enabling all to fill included within the session, even those who would normally be on the sideline.

“The Kellyville Kolts’ Yasmin Binning is one of the most enthusiastic MiniRoos Program Managers in the state, and this attitude is transferred from her to the children, to even the parents. I would personally like to congratulate her, and Kellyville for providing such a great environment for children to learn to play football

Yasmin Binning who is the Program Manager at the Kellyville Kotls, expressed her observations since commencing the program at the club.

“The program was so enjoyable to run! With the help from the staff at Football NSW, we were able to facilitate an inclusive program that saw all the kids improve on their football skills, confidence and teamwork. We can’t wait for next year!”

Kellyville Kolt’s ALDI MiniRoos Kick-Off program runs for 10 weeks, and includes an ALDI MiniRoos Participant Pack as well as a specially designed ALDI MiniRoos Kellyville Kolts kit!
