Futsal Cup Round 1 Concludes

The first round of the coveted knockout Futsal Cup as presented by Indoor 5’s concluded on Wednesday 7th of November as eight teams from both the Open Men and Women’s categories progressed to round two with opening matches scheduled on Tuesday 13th November.

In the Open Women’s category the Inner West Magic defeated Enfield Allstars 3-1, Mountain Majik Futsal Club made light work of the South Coast Taipans beating them 4-0 while Raiders Futsal took care of Boomerangs F.S. 4-1. Dural Warriors won in a nail biting affair 2-1 against Eastern Suburbs Hakoah Futsal Club while the Mascot Vipers hammered SD Raiders Futsal 11-2. There were also wins to Sydney City Eagles, UTS Northside Futsal Club as well as Campbelltown City Quake who easily took care of Phoenix Futsal Club 8-0.

The Open Men’s saw the Sydney City Eagles beat West City Crusaders 4-2, UTS Northside pipped Sydney Futsal Club 2-1 while there were wins for the Inner West Magic, South Coast Taipans, Boomerangs F.S., Dural Warriors, SD Raiders Futsal and Campbelltown City Quake.
