Futsal Cup Finals Announced
The 2018 Futsal Cup Finals as presented by Indoor 5’s for both men and women have been confirmed after an intense semi-finals series of matches that took place this week at Valentine Sports Park.
Tuesday evening saw the Inner West Magic Futsal Club record an all-important 3-1 victory over Raiders Futsal in the women’s category as they became the first club to earn a spot in the coveted final.
Joining the Magic will be UTS Northside who proved too strong for the Mascot Vipers taking the match out 5-2 on Wednesday setting up a huge Grand Finals match at Valentine Sports Park.
Meanwhile in the men’s category, the Dural Warriors will face Campbelltown City Quake after both sides recorded emphatic victories in their semi-final matches.
The Warriors easily disposed of the South Coast Taipans with a 7-1 rout while the Quake registered a 6-3 win over the Sydney City Eagles.
The finals have been set for Wednesday 12th of December at Valentine Sports Park as four teams will lock horns to see who will claim the first piece of Futsal silverware for the year.
