Woongarrah Wildcats win opening FFA Cup clash

Central Coast Football Association side Woongarrah Wildcats FC became the first team in NSW to progress to Round 3 of the FFA Cup after defeating Gladesville Hornsby FA’s Macquarie University 5-0 on Tuesday night.

Pluim Park played host to the first FFA Cup match in NSW and goals were on the menu as the Wildcats showed all their class with a convincing 5-0 victory.

Both AJ Henderson and Lachlan Jones stole the show scoring doubles while Kane Woolston chimed in as well that sent the Central Coast based side through to the next round with a date booked against National Premier Leagues 3 NSW Men’s outfit Dulwich Hill.
