Northern Tigers get into the Female Football Week spirit

North Turramurra Recreation area was the scene over the weekend as the Northern Tigers National Premier Leagues NSW Women’s side alongside the Northern Suburbs FA hosted a fantastic Female Football Week day celebrating women in sport.

Northern Tigers Football Club presented the next generation of Matilda’s with exciting NPL NSW Women’s games throughout the day and a fantastic run BBQ.

The girls conquered the field and displayed their skills to the captivated audience and produced exciting games for all to enjoy.

A great day out in the park to celebrate the development of the female game.

Football NSW also attended the event and provided the day with the ALDI MiniRoos Shooting target which has proven to be extremely popular with both kids and adults present at North Turramurra.

The Football NSW community team handed out Female Football Week giveaways and prizes such as wristbands, headbands, bouncy balls and stickers for trick shots and strikes on target.

The girls represented their club with honour and demonstrated positively their love of the game and how far the female game has developed over the years with strong displays of skill and style.

Northern Tigers Football club continue to set the standard for female football development and celebrations.
