Eastern Suburbs FA host successful ALDI MiniRoos Gala Days

Eastern Suburbs Football Association ran a successful ALDI MiniRoos Gala Day for the Under 6’s and 7’s at L’Estrange Park and Jellicoe Park on Saturday 15th June.

The Under 6’s Gala Day took place at Mascot’s L’Estrange Park in conjunction with the Mascot Kings as 51 teams across 13 pitches were in full flight full of football action.

The same was said over at Pagewood Botany’s Jellicoe Park as 66 teams with 17 pitches running took part in spreading the round ball game to promising youngsters.

Football NSW provided ESFA with ALDI vouchers which were used by local clubs to purchase free fruit, promoting a healthy lifestyle to all its member base.

Football NSW also provided various prizes and giveaways including ALDI MiniRoos T-Shirts, MatchAttax Playing cards amongst other goodies.

ESFA’s Junior Football Coordinator Chelsea Brennan was beaming after seeing two successful Gala Days hosted within the football mad area.

“Our second Under 6 & Under 7’s Gala Day for 2019 was held last Saturday and was a huge hit!

“We had fifty-one Under 6 teams and sixty-six Under 7 teams participate and the kids enjoyed every minute.

“Thank you to Football NSW and ALDI for their support on the day.”
