Spears Sports Club deliver successful Under 7 Gala Day
It was blue skies, green pastures and football that set the scene for an amazing Under 7 Gala Day at Neville Reserve in Bass Hill last weekend.
Spears Sports Club welcomed kids from clubs throughout the Bankstown District Amateur Football Association (BDAFA) to their home ground for an action-packed day of football, fun and games.
Each team played in three non-competitive matches as games ran simultaneously across four fields to get through a busy schedule.
On the sidelines, the ALDI MiniRoos Shooting Target organised by Football NSW’s Game Development Officer, Cameron Whitton ensured the kids energy levels remained at a high for the duration of the day. Participants received football trading cards and wristbands as a reward for their efforts.
Other activities included a football dartboard, two jumping castles and face painting complemented by popcorn, fairy floss and snow cones for the traditional fair experience.
At the end of an exciting day, the kids left with their families and a certificate of participation to remind them of this memorable occasion.
