It was a spectacular, sunny day down at the seaside location of Christison Park in Vaucluse on Sunday 4th of August as Maccabi Hakoah Junior Football Club organised a fun-filled day of football as they greeted the Under 7 boys and girls from teams throughout the Eastern Suburbs Football Association for their gala day.

The action got underway bright and early as each team faced off.

There were tackles, teamwork, shots and some amazing goal celebrations that surely put the excitement levels through the roof.

Families cheered on in support, while the coaches encouraged the kids for their individual contributions to allow them to grow as a footballer and most importantly have fun.

There were plenty of surprises on the day with Maccabi Hakoah Junior Football Club’s sponsor, Integriti Projects having an old fashioned lolly guessing competition and showbags to entice the kids.

Football NSW also made an appearance on the day with Game Development Officers, Taj and Corey arranging an ALDI MiniRoos Shooting Target to improve the kids’ accuracy in front of goal.

It proved to be quite the popular attraction with queues lining up to score perhaps a few prizes.

Anthony Chesler, President of Maccabi Hakoah Junior Football Club expressed his gratitude on behalf of the club.

“Thank you Football NSW for making available the Inflatable Goal to our club which was a special touch at our U7’s Gala Day”.

At the end of a long and successful day, the kids left with smiles on their faces and proudly holding their participation certificates.
