Newbury Bulls FC entertain on MiniRoos Gala Day weekend

Newbury Bulls Football Club entertained teams from throughout the Blacktown & Districts Soccer Football Association (BDSFA) recently.

Firstly, with the Under 11’s on Saturday followed by an Under 8’s and 10’s event exclusively for the girls on Sunday.

Both MiniRoos Gala Days were held at Connor Greasby Park in Stanhope Gardens, where the community came together to support and celebrate the contribution of tomorrow’s future stars.

Each day had its’ own dose of football, fun and accompanied entertainment.

Saturday brought DJ music, laser tag, bumper balls, a gaming truck, delicious toasties and fair-style treats.

While Sunday brought karaoke, dancing, face painting, the Western Sydney Wanderers’ Arena and Dribble Zone and lastly Football NSW’s ALDI MiniRoos Dartboard – organised by Game Development Officers, Tim Blackford and Eraga Magotti.

It was a busy day on and off the field, with constant games running across the entire ground and the kids swarming the activation zone for a chance to win some prizes and improve their football abilities in the process.

As each day came to a close, our MiniRoos participants received a medal for their effort and contribution to their respective teams and clubs during a successful weekend for the Newbury Bulls Football Club and association.
