Football NSW and Australian sport is in mourning following the sudden passing of highly respected sport administrator Glenn Tasker.  

Tasker held the position of General Manager of the NSW Amateur Soccer Federation (NSWASF) from 2000 – 2001 before returning to the sport of swimming.

Glenn’s experience and expertise in sport administration saw him hold various executive roles over many years including as CEO of Swimming Australia, Swimming NSW and Tennis NSW, SOCOG Competition Manager (swimming), Executive Director and President of the Australian Paralympic Committee and as Vice Chair of the International Paralympic Committee’s Sport Technical Committee.

In recognition of his tremendous contribution to sport over many years, Glenn was recognised with a Sport Australia Service to Sport Award in 2017.
