Macarthur Football Association continues ALDI MiniRoos Gala Day success
St Mary’s Eagle Vale Soccer Club and the Tahmoor Taipans played host to the ALDI MiniRoos Under 10’s and 11’s for their gala days, last Saturday 17th August.
A beautiful day out in the sun, blissfully caught on camera by the Macarthur Football Association’s Media Team who made the visit to Tahmoor Sportsground for the Under 10’s and Kooringa Reserve for the Under 11’s.
The football festivities commenced with our eager ALDI MiniRoos getting stuck into the action of there competitive fixtures, while friends and family cheered from the sidelines in support.
There were last-ditch tackles, goalkeeping acrobats, heading leaps and several fantastic goals scored to the delight of their coaches and managers.
Before and between games, kids wandered over to the ALDI MiniRoos Shooting Target, organised by Football NSW’s Game Development Officers.
It was a chance for the kids to practice their finishing touch which perhaps contributed to the amount of goals scored on the day.
A notable mention to the volunteers from the club and football community, coaches, managers, referees, family and friends who had come together on a successful day for our ALDI MiniRoos.
