National Team Coaches Join The 2019 State Coaching Conference

Football NSW’ State Coaching Conference is back bigger and better than ever before with a realm of industry experts providing insights into coaching at this years conference on Sunday 10th November at Valentine Sports Park, Glenwood.

Football New South Wales are delighted to confirm that National Team Coaches Kai Lammert and Brody Crane will be presenting.

Pararoos head coach Kai Lammert will be delivering his insights into Leadership and creating a team culture. Lammert is a professional football coach with over 20 years of coaching experience. Kai has been head coach of the Australian National team the Pararoos since 2015 and this year lead the team at the 2019 IFCPF World Cup in Spain. Before coming to Australia in 2000 for the Sydney Olympics, Kai played professional Football in Germany with VFL Osnabrueck.

In another exciting addition to this years conference Kai will be joined at the conference by fellow National Teams Unit member Brody Crane. Brody is one of Australia’s leading goalkeeper coaches. During his coaching career Brody has worked at Hyundai A League Clubs Western Sydney Wanderers and Sydney FC. Brody has also worked in female football as Goalkeeping Coach for Sydney FC in the Westfield W League for 2 seasons as well as working with the Young Matilda’s. Brody is currently the Head Goalkeeping Coach for the Australian U15 Men’s National Team. Brody will be delivering a breakout session titled “Developing The Modern Day Goalkeeper” this session will give coaches of all levels an insight into the modern day goalkeeper and the traits and skillset they need to possess.

Football New South Wales Technical Director, Mens & Boys Warren Grieve Is excited to have both National Team coaches as part of the conference “Coaches of all levels will gain valuable insights from both Kai and Brody as they draw on their experiences with the National Teams Unit, it is great to have goalkeeping included in this years conference as they are an Integral part of the team environment, it’s fantastic to include a goalkeeping component this year and I encourage coaches to attend the Modern Day goalkeeper session as it will be provide some valuable insights to help them grow their toolbox”
