Wayne Goldsmith to speak at State Coaching Conference

In another coup for this year’s State Coaching Conference, Football NSW is delighted to announce that world renowned coaching consultant Mr Wayne Goldsmith as a special keynote speaker.

Wayne will headline a distinguished group of presenters when he delivers his keynote presentation titled “Ten Habits of an Effective Coach”.

He will follow this up in the afternoon when he leads one of several breakout sessions titled “Becoming a Creative Coach’ enabling attendees to get up close and personal and delve into some of the issues he feels so passionate about.

Wayne is an author, presenter, consultant, speaker and coach having worked in sport for the past 28 years with the NRL, AFL, Rugby Australia, Swimming Australia, Triathlon Australia, Tennis Australia and several NRL, AFL and professional Rugby teams.

His career has taken him to more than 30 countries where he has consulted with over 100 clients including USA Swimming, British Swimming, the New Zealand Rugby Union and many other Olympic sports and professional sporting teams around the world.

Wayne has recently returned from a six week speaking and consulting tour of the UK and Ireland where he worked with the FA, presented at the Irish Rugby Union Conference and worked with coaches, sporting parents, sporting organisations, academics and sports science practitioners across England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Wayne’s primary focus is on the future of sport and how to help coaches, parents, officials and sporting organisations build sustainable successful sporting environments for children of all ages and stages of development.

Football NSW’s Talent Pathways Manager Andrew Taylor is looking forward to welcoming Wayne to Valentine Sports Park.
