Parramatta FC in reboot phase as new TD announced

Fresh after announcing its new senior coach for the 2020 NPL 4 NSW Men’s competition has come the news that Parramatta FC have appointed Mohammed Taiba as the club’s Technical Director.

Starting his NPL coaching career at Rockdale City Suns and then APIA, Taiba arrived at Parramatta in 2016. He demonstrated outstanding results by developing young local talent and promoting players into the youth teams.

In 2019, Taiba made his way to Sydney FC, where he worked as a Player Developer with some of the best young talent in the country. He was mentored by Sydney FC TD Kelly Cross as well as the Sky Blues’ Jason Rea throughout the season.

Parramatta FC’s new TD has a reputation of developing young players and encouraging them to move to A-League clubs. He is proactive and networks with local grassroots clubs to identify talented players and give them opportunities to test themselves at NPL level.

“Parramatta FC can only rise if we believe in the process, have good people around to create a family culture, which then creates a safe and exciting learning environment,” Taiba stated.

In other club news at Parramatta FC, the club said goodbye one of its promising young guns Anton Isaako who has since signed with Sydney FC’s Under 13’s squad.

Young Isaako started with Parramatta in under 9s SAP and was quickly identified as a player to watch. Under coach Mohammad Taiba’s guidance, he was this season promoted to play up into the U13s squad. In this team, he dominated against players older than him and was encouraged to attend the ATP program at Sydney FC, one of the leading ways to viewed by the Sydney FC scouts.

Finally, Parramatta FC announced the appointment of Houssan Hallak as the under 20s coach for the 2020 NPL 4 NSW Men’s season.

Houssan comes to the club with many years of experience as a player and coach within Granville District Soccer Football Association, successfully winning many titles.

In 2019, Houssan was appointed the under 18s coach at Parramatta FC and was again successful in taking the team to semi-finals.
