Campbelltown Quake v Enfield Allstars

Campbelltown Quake will look to return to the winner’s circle with Enfield Allstars travelling to Minto Sports Stadium for a Saturday afternoon clash.

Quake were embarrassed 3-zip by Mountain last weekend but remain in second spot just three points off Mascot.

On paper three points against Enfield seems in the bag, but Allstars are coming off their best two games of the season falling 0-1 to UTS then 0-2 to Vipers to belie their win-less season.

Campbelltown hold a commanding 9-5 head-to-head edge over their opponents but most of the games have been pretty close, including a tight 3-1 Quake win earlier this season, and who could forget Enfield’s 6-0 demolition of the Purples at this venue just two summers ago.

Boomerangs FS v Eastern Suburbs Hakoah

Boomerangs FS versus Eastern Suburbs Hakoah at Q-One Indoor Sports Queanbeyan on Saturday afternoon should be an interesting match-up.

Easts have won three of their last four games to hold down fourth spot on the ladder, but a Boomerangs 5-0 thrashing of Inner West in Sydney last weekend must have them brimming with confidence.

The clubs met in premier league for the first time in round three and the match finished 3-3 and, with both sides well and truly in the playoff hunt, this could swing either way.

Mountain Majik v Inner West Magic

Last year’s grand-finalists Mountain Majik and Inner West Magic face-off in a vital match at Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Three-straight wins have pushed Mountain into finals contention two points behind fourth-placed Easts, while Inner West have suffered three losses in their last four runs to shakily hold onto third spot.

Magic hold the historical stick with nine victories (including last season’s grand final and knocking Majik out of last year’s Futsal Cup) and two draws (both last summer) making them look good on paper.

But while Inner West’s 40 goals this season is countered by a wobbly defence that’s leaked 29 goals (only win-less Enfield has a worse return), Mountain have scored 15 goals to three conceded in their last three runs to add real pep to their step.

Mascot Vipers v UTS Northside

Table-toppers Mascot Vipers might have their hands full when they play UTS Northside at Morris Iemma Indoor Sports Centre on Saturday night.

After six-straight wins to start the season Mascot’s only win in the last three weekends has been an edgy 2-0 victory against Enfield.

Vipers are still flying high but face a UTS side that’s matched them with six wins apiece over the years and were terrific value in a 1-3 round-three loss to a red-hot Mascot.

Before that game Northside bungled Vipers out of last year’s Futsal Cup semi-final 5-2 and, currently in a playoff traffic jam with third to sixth separated by five points, UTS will be primed for battle this Saturday.
