TAFE NSW Summer Football has hit the ground running in a fantastic way across four venues as Northern Suburbs Football Association continues its promotion of the world game all year round.

The intake for the 2019 TAFE NSW Summer Football season has been fruitful to say the least as 2,379 registered players across 279 teams have been playing the game they love across the four venues at Asquith, North Turramurra, Lane Cove and St Leonards.

Northern Suburbs FA caters to a plethora of age groups commencing in the Under 8’s workings way through to the over 35’s for both men and women.

Northern Suburbs Competitions Manager Adam Cloughton has been delighted with how the Summer Football concept has been received within the football mad area.

“6-a-side continues to be a very popular off-season game for NSFA players.

“We have venues and age groups that allow players of all ages and ability to get involved.

“This year we expanded our reach with the newly upgraded Gore Hill Oval.

“We have games on Monday to Thursday and our aim is to continue to attract players to 6-aside, in 2020 our goal is to have over 300 teams registered.”
