Burns Park, home to Junee Jaguars SC, has been buzzing with TAFE NSW Summer football fever as locals have thrown its support behind the round ball game initiative.

Kicking off in early November, the successful Summer Football competitions have been the talk of the town each and every Wednesday’s for both its junior and senior footballers.

Junee Jaguars SC and Summer Football convenor Craig Duncan has seen the success Summer Football has played within the football community.

“It’s been well received.

“It’s been very family oriented with some juniors having their parents playing in senior teams while we have had a fair few players come from our winter football competitions.

“What’s been great to see is the look on our juniors faces playing the game then getting their Zooper- Dooper at the end of each match.

“We are looking at gaining a few more junior and senior footballers from this current batch of summer football registrations into playing winter football as part of us rebuilding for the future.”
