Futsal Premier League 2 Review – Semi Finals – Open Women’s

We have our two Grand Finalists for the Futsal Premier League 2 Open Women’s competition. It came through two pulsating semi-finals played on Saturday afternoon.

Semi Final #1: Dural Warriors 5 defeated Raiders Futsal Club 0

Premiers Dural Warriors moved a step closer to their quest for Grand Final glory with a 5-nil success against Raiders Futsal Club.

The Warriors put the contest to bed in the first half with a five-star performance to take their unbeaten streak to 15 games. They relied on their stoic defense in the second half to keep the clean sheet.

Dural Warriors have a chance to put the icing on the cake of their remarkable season on Sunday afternoon. They take on South Coast Taipans in the decider.

Semi Final #2: South Coast Taipans 3 defeat Sydney Futsal Club 0

South Coast Taipans booked back-to-back Grand Final appearances after a comfortable 3-nil success this afternoon.

The Taipans completed a successful day for the club with a clean sweep of their semi-finals. Now they take on the unbeaten Warriors for the grand prize.

The South Coast side were the only side to blunt the Warriors attack in an opening day 0-0 draw at UOW Sports Hub. Coach Bobby Mazevski knows it’ll be a tough task Sunday night.

After 16 weeks of fighting it out it has come down to Dural Warriors taking on South Coast Taipans at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Hall Sunday afternoon.

 

Futsal Premier League 2 Review – Semi Final – Open Mens

We have our two combatants for the Futsal Premier League 2 Grand Final after two engrossing semi-finals Saturday night at The Centre – Dural.

Semi final #1: Dural Warriors 7 defeated Raiders Futsal Club 3

The undefeated Dural Warriors booked their place in the Futsal Premier League 2 Open Mens Grand Final with a 7-3 result against Raiders Futsal Club.

Dural Warriors strode out to a 3-nil lead at the break before piling on four more in the second half to confirm their spot in the decider.

For Raiders Futsal Club they battled hard but were unable to topple Dural Warriors. They did find the back of the net thrice for some consolation tonight.

Semi Final #2: SD Raiders Futsal 0 defeated by Sydney City Eagles 0

Sydney City Eagles put in a comprehensive performance to defeat SD Raiders Futsal 6-nil tonight at The Centre – Dural.

The Eagles put in an even performance with three goals in each half to soar into the Grand Final. Coach Roy Perre gets his wish to have one more crack at Dural Warriors.

Sharpshooter Lachlan Rose got things underway with his 7th minute goal before Sam Perre and Aaron Cimitile got first half scores to set the Eagles up.

In the second half, Bruno Antelmi fired home the fourth with Paul Ragonese and Robert Perre rounded off the impressive performance in the local match up.

The Grand Final will see the unbeaten Dural Warriors take on Sydney City Eagles at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Hall. 5pm.
