VALE – Veronique Sakr

The Football NSW family is today mourning the tragic passing of Inter Lions’ Under 12’s Girls SAP member Veronique Sakr.

In paying their respects, Inter Lions Football Club will retire Veronqiue’s beloved number 11 shirt for the entire SAP season.

Inter Lions FC made the following club statement.

“The Club was saddened by the news of the passing of Veronique Sakr who was a valued member of the Inter community and participated in the Under 12s Girls SAP programme.

Veronique will always be remembered by her football colleagues and we are blessed to have known her. We would like to express our condolences to her family & friends.

The club would like to pay this tribute to this beautiful Angel, her cousins and family.

Football NSW would like to extend its deepest condolences to the Sakr family, may she rest in heavenly peace.
