Around the Grounds @ Knapsack Park

Knapsack Park home to the Blue Mountains Football Club is the next pitch featured in our ‘Around the Grounds’ segment playing out at the Nepean Football Association.

The park itself is in the midst of a $1.3 million upgrade to assist in fixing up the clubhouse and carpark as it’s renowned for being a popular sporting hub for the lower Blue Mountains with many families spending their weekends there playing the world game.

The facility itself is still renowned for being a great place to play football at which is why the club has continued to kick goals on and off the park led by Club President David Smith and his innovative board.

The proud club was formed in 1965 and have continued to spread the good word that is football till today with registrations consistent with many locals wanting to be part of the ever popular club catering for all ages starting from the Under 5’s right through to the Over 35’s in both male and female categories.
