COVID-19 Reduce the Risk

Football NSW continues to closely monitor developments in relation to COVID-19 and work closely with NSW Health and NSW Office of Sport to develop and provide practical Guidelines and resources for clubs, associations and the wider football community.

To help ensure that football can continue to operate with appropriate safeguards in place and to limit the risk of transmission, we remind all participants of the following:

  • Comply with good hygiene practices
  • Comply with the 1.5m social distancing rule (except during games)
  • Arrive dressed and ready to train or play
  • Wash hands before and after training and playing
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes
  • Do not shake hands with players, officials, team officials or spectators
  • Do not socialize or assemble in groups before or after training and games
  • Limit the number of spectators that accompany you to training and games
  • Spectators are to comply with the 1.5m social distancing rule at all times
  • Stay at home if feeling unwell
  • Get tested for COVID-19 if you develop flu like symptoms
