Cancellation of 2021 FFA Futsal National Championships

Football Federation of Australia (FFA) has advised that in consultation with its relevant stakeholders, the National governing body have regrettably decided to cancel the 2021 event of Futsal National Championships due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In an FFA statement, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant disruption to the Australian football calendar which has made scheduling and planning for the Futsal National Championships extremely challenging. Further, there remains some uncertainty regarding travel restrictions and the re-opening of borders across the country, which impacts on this national event.

The upcoming period now allows FFA the time to continue to work together with the Member Federations and other key stakeholders on enhancing future championships
