England National Team Coach Joins 2020 Australian Coaching Conference
Football New South Wales are delighted to announce that Head Coach for the England U16-U17 Female National Team Lydia Bedford will be presenting at the 2020 Australian Coaching Conference.
Lydia is a UEFA Pro Licence holder who has worked for the English Football Association for 6 years across both coach development and player development within the female game.
Lydia completed her UEFA Pro Diploma with the English FA at their headquarters St Georges Park in 2019 alongside former Manchester United European cup winner Peter Schmeichel and fellow European Cup winner former Liverpool legend and current Rangers Manager Steven Gerrard. Lydia was also one of the first female managers of a male senior side in England when she was appointed St Neots Town under-21s manager.
Lydia will be presenting at the 2020 Australian Coaching Conference on “Developing Future Female Champions” which will form part of the “Coaching The Female Player” stream for the conference.

With COVID-19 still impacting the ability to gather in large groups and for participants to travel, the 2020 Australian Coaching Conference has attracted many participants and already Northern NSW Football, Football West and Football Victoria have joined forces to promote the Conference to their coaches and broader membership.
The 2020 Australian Coaching Conference will be held online on Saturday 28 November, noting that registration will allow participants to access the content any time afterwards through a specially designed online platform.
