Granville & District Soccer Football Association will once again be running its historic Cottam Cup competition as expressions of interest have commenced with club entries closing on the 2nd of April.

Established in 1907 and known as the oldest Football Knock-Out competition in Australia, the Cottam Cup will most certainly attract more clubs wishing to play with the Grand Final set to be hosted at  the iconic Melita Stadium with the match set to be live streamed.

Last year Blacktown District Football Associations the Ponds FC were crowned 2020 Champions defeating Rydalmere Lions so there will no doubt be some extra motivation from clubs across NSW hungry to bring the coveted Cup home.

The Cottam Cup is named after Private John William Cottam, a champion striker from the powerhouse Granville Magpies team who died in France in 1917 serving his country.
